Default RE: Another Bowtech goes crack

I firmly believe that Bowtech had a slight issue with limbs last year. Though I don't think it was their fault. They may have had rash of bad limbs. This is the nature of the beast when you depend on outside suppliers. You can monitor QA on everything you do, but who's to say the other guy is as strict as you are? I think the 05's will be trouble free. As most of us with an 05 have noticed, they put a block over the end of the limb where the limb bolt goes in. This just gives the limb more support.

On another note, I am surprised that more companies arent going to a laminated limb. Its my understanding that Hoyt has the lowest limb failure rate in the industry. Maybe there is more to the split limb design than originally thought. I don't know, i'm not an engineer or expert but it stands to reason.

I love my new Allegiance. Its a great shooting bow and extremely quite. So far, I have not had a lick of trouble with mine. Hats off to Bowtech for their customer service and support provided to the people with problems. Thats a true class act company.
