The Leaf River uses a CF "compact flash" memory card. I believe the Cuddeback uses the same but am not 100% sure.

My Leaf River gets around 2 months battery life. Don't use rechargeables, they don't last in trail cameras. I'm not sure how many pictures I've gotten on one set of batteries but I'd guess around 1,000.

I couldn't be happier with my Leaf River. I'd recommend it to anyone, I'll try to post some pictures sometime.
