RE: Whats the formula for K.E.?
I don't understand this formula that some of you listed. (with the division of 450240) My college physics class had the formula for KE as 1/2 mass X velocity squared.
The dictionary lists KE as; The energy possesed by a body because of its motion, equal to one half the mass of the body times the square of its speed. This agrees with my physics course.
Where does this other formula fit in?
