I am no expert in reloading by a long shot, but I had no one to mentor me either. I have been at it for 2 years now, and have loaded over 2500 rounds. Not once have I had any concerns for safety or ran in to problems with loads that were too hot. Just read the manuals word for word, and follow the instructions that come with the press and dies and you are off to the races!! I really like the Lee presses and dies, but the rest of my reloading gear is mainly RCBS.

Good luck and enjoy!
