I have had the same thing happen to me two days this week. Remember that the Ohio season started a week earlier this year and the gobblers are still with the hens (phase II). Typically, the advice already given will all work but I think we are about a week early for the hens to be going off to nest and leaving the gobblers. I think the late morning hunting will pick up starting next week. Until then, your best bet is to intercept the gobblers when they fly down or ambush them in their travels.
