I've skinned many of them and it never ceases to amaze me how long they move around even though I know they're dead. I think the nervous system of a pit viper is very intensely charged and it takes alot to discharge. Kind of like a capacitor in a TV...

I carry my super blackhawk 44mag with the first two snakeshot and the rest HPs. Buddy of mine has the perfect snake gun--2 inch bbl 45 colt--nasty spread comes out of that muzzle.

Nice one, make a nice belt or rifle sling.
