I have never had a problem with traction with any newer honda equipped with proper tires.I haver ridden a couple of quads with the gearless lockers and although they do provide slighly better traction they are more difficult to steer and are more tiring after a long day of riding.Try to ride a machine equipped with the gearless locker before having your machine modified.In my opinion this modification is only worthwhile if you are going to do a great deal of very serious mudding.
