I have a set of older motorola t5100's (i believe thats the model) they are ok BUT i borrowed a friends set of midland gxt-450's. Boy is there a difference!

I just wanted to see what the range difference really was and i can tell you alot.

I am planning to buy a set before the fall. they are a little more than the cheapys but hey if you keep them for years they will be worth the extra$$.
