Kezar...I think that sounds like an absolutely wonderful time. Your choice of time frames sounds great and exactly what I would recommend. I'll be going up on the same day as you, but have to come back on the 17th. You stand a good chance of missing the warmer early weather, and you probably won't get that end of season crusty snow that stays around for the last week most years. Hunt hard, hunt well, be safe.
