I carry a Glock model 23 in 40 s&w it is easy to conceal and more than enough firepower if needed I tried alot of different handguns but the Glock won it is very simple to disassemble to does not have alot of parts anyone with any knowledge about guns can take it apart and reassemble it with ease. The 1911 style guns seem complicated to me. I have alot of friends in law enforcement they all carry Glocks for on and off duty also there are alot of people selling enhancements for them I would recommend the Glock to anyone wanting a reliable carry weapon but that is just my opinion I hope this helps chad
