Hi All
Really like the whole background check thing we got goin on, good way to get to know all of you!
I'm 31 yrs old, born and raised in Flint, Mi. Moved to the woods of northeast Mi in 2001. Been hunting since the age of 12, turkey for about 8 yrs now. Taken only four myself and called in another 4 for others. So I still consider myself very much a rookie! I have been successful the past 4 yrs in a row and hoping to make it 5. Got a couple spots that have been very reliable for me lately. My biggest bird is the one on page 3 of the post, 10.75 beard. Been watching some that are at least that big if not bigger so I really hope I can help the team out and put up some respectable numbers! Good luck to all, so far it looks like mud and corn will be our first hunter so GO GET EM GUYS!!!

Looks like we have a pretty decent Team and I'm lookin' forward to gettin' to know more of you folks as the season progresses.
My name's Bryan and I'm 35 years old, married with 3 kids (ages 8, 9 and 13) whom all hunt for both deer and turkey. We liveand huntin Fulton county, right here in the game rich West-Central Illinois region. I've hunted deer here for over 20+ years but turkey have only been reintroduced over the last 12 to 15 years in the areas that I hunt... but I've been after 'em since the begining. I've been pretty fortunate in the woods overthe yearsto have tagged nearly 100 whitetails (mostly with bow), including numerous trophy classbucks that score from 130" to 175" and over 20 mature Gobblers with bow and shotgun. I seem to spend more time guiding others to their trophies over the last few years but I've found it very enjoyable even thogh I seem to get less and less time to hunt myself. My favorite huntin' "buddies" these days are my own children. My Daughter has already taken some impressive trophy bucks and turkey and is becoming an accomplished sportswoman and a very young age. My sons just had their first deer season this past Fall and are looking forward to their first Turkey season this Spring. I've also very fortunate to work with a handful of companies in the capacity of "Pro Staffer" and get the chance to test and evaluate some some pretty cool gear over the years. Bottomline.... we are certainly a hunting family and enjoy every aspect of the sport, from tending to our own property.... from foodplots to habitat management to checking trail cams,.... to helping others enjoy and love the outdoors as much as we do.
Some of my better birds, up 26 1/2 lbs
My best bird to date... and he was taken with a bow which made it that much sweeter!

My'07 Gobbler, taken the last day ofmy season.

Last years longbeards

My favorite huntin' buddy.... shes got potential.

She's as deadly with her turkey gun as she is with her muzzleloader barrel!

Well my name is Ruth, 26 y/o. Been hunting for about 11 years. Homeschooled my whole school age years then college for 4 years, got a B.S. in Outdoor Education/Camp Administration, and now I will soon graduate come may, hopefully, lol, with an AAS in Nursing then take my state boards to become an RN. During the last couple summers I worked as a camp counselor at an Enviromental Ed. camp run by the NY State Dept. of Env. Conservation and hopefully this year will be the camp nurse. I've never hunted out of state but hope to at some point. Love shed hunting, fishing, hiking, backpacking (I've hiked 3 of the peaks in the Adirondacks including the highest, Mt. Marcy, twice). Live with my family, we have horses, ducks, chickens, rabbits, couple dogs and cats.
