I think that the score sounds right - mudchicken. Do I need to enter my bird or need to post pictures anywhere else? I have a few pictures of my son and a video I would like to share, I put it together real fast so I could show it to my dad. He got his bird on opening day of youth season here. It had a 10 inch beard and 3/4 inch spurs and was about 21 pounds. I know it was bigger than mamas but thats all right. It seems as if I can only upload 1 file at a time so bare with me. Heres my first bird, I bagged him yesterday but havent had time to post until now.
He weighed 14lbs, 7 inch beard, and 1/4 spurs. Not the biggest but im very proud of my first bird.
Iwas hunting with my buddy and we doubled. His bird weighed 17lbs, 9 inch beard, 1 inch spurs.
Not to bad for our first turkey hunt.

Well still no bird here yet weather has made it tough! We did get a nice one this morn tho. Hunting with signman53 from team 25. signmans scored a 62! I couldn't find him a jake so he shot the big one!
seen him last night and knew the general area where he roosted so we set up on him this morn, started to get light and we realized we set up right on top of him! Luckily the bad weather saved us and he had no idea we were there. He hit the ground and took about five steps and he smoked him! we were back at the house by 7 am. weather is supposed to get nice again after today and i think my other spot is gonna be really get good. Best of luck to all!

CONGRATS KY on you first bird!
