PYbuckhunter-checking in.I'll be hunting in South Central & WesternWisconsin (Zones 1 and 3). I have a 2nd period tag for Zone 3..April 22-26. Hopefully Iwill be able to get a 4th, 5th, and 6th period tag. They go on sale in March, so I might be hunting till May 24th with a chance at 4 birds. Went 2 for 3 last year, but didn't get much support from my team.

heck Jim usually your first year is the lucky year. you'll do fine. When we get most of us checked in we will start with a captain and team name.

So when does everyones seasons start? Im probably the late bloomer here at may 1, but man ive got the itch already. The mouth calls are in the truck and get sung on just about everywhere I go, I just can figure out why no one will ride with me anymore??:D Picked up an ameristep g-30 at gander the other day too, i'll be using that to try to acomplish my goal of my first gobbler with archery gear!

I would say my chances are about 80% of scoring on a nice 2 year old with the scatter gun. Even if I dont score, i'll be happy just getting out there, I love me some turkey huntin!

April 20th here. i got a busy season ahead of me. I take new people out every year to help them get their first bird so i'll be hunting inbtween that as well.

Anyone got any ideas for a team name or does anyone want o volunteer to be captain? Im never good at that stuff myself.

Hey guys! Checking in here....I'm hunting Central Wisconsin for my first ever turkey hunt...If I don't score I promise it wasn't for lack of effort. My time period is from April 29-May 3 and I think I'm going to try to get an extra tag a couple weeks later when my girlfriend got her tag. Are there any rules against hunting more than one time period? Does it matter for points if you shoot it with a bow vs gun?

doesnt matter when ya kill it as long as its in a legal season and no points difference for gun or bow.

Hey guys checkin in! I'll be hunting central and southern parts of West Virginia. Our season is from April 27 - May 23. It's my third season the first two I didn't get out to much but planning to hit the woods hard this year for turkey and morels.
