opening day was a bust. had 2 guys that was trying to run and gun all morning scaring all the birds away. did get 3 jakes. on video.

Anyone having any luck yet? I had 2 toms come in Saturdy morning but they wouldn't come any closer than about 100 yards. We did have a doe close enough we could have almost petted her. Pretty slow in my hunting area this weekend. Didn't hear a single gobble Sunday. Only saw one of the toms Sunday. He didn't come close either.

Called in a dandy for the wife today....25.6 lbs....10 7/8" beard...1 1/16" spurs. Going to be hard for me to beat that!

Season over for me. No luck my first year trying. I sure did miss out on alot of fishing. I guess thats why I never turkey hunted before.
