Thanks Bull! I think we got our captain and our name. Now, all we need is some birds on the ground flopping!

Avatars - size must be no bigger than 145 x 145 10kb. Once you have chosen a picture you need to shrink it - I found working in .gif files easier than jpg....but then what do I know!

Are you looking for a New Best Friend? Pick me!! LOL

I am jealous!!!! Great pictures! I always hunt Merriam's but I have been thinking I may scout for some Rios this year.

I went scouting in the Rocky's Sun-Tue and one areaI hunt, there is still quite a bit of snow and the turkeys have not moved into the area yet. SoI went to a new place I have wanted to check out for some time at a lower elevation.
I found turkeys right away 16 or so birds with mostly hens and maybe 4 Jakes. The Jakes where strutting and did some gobbling but the hens where not responsive, I saw no Gobblers although I think I found gobbler tracks farther back in the area as they where lone tracks and larger. I got some pictures on my mead binos but I don't have the cord here to download the pictures LOL. I will try to find a cord and post them.

It is a bit early to scout here in Colorado soI wont do anymore tell closer to the season.

If anyone wants to use the avatar I came up with just copy and past to your profile.
