Default Painting a camera

My camera is silver and i got it for 100 dollars. So im not to worried about the long term part. IS it safe to pain the face of the camera so ducks cant see it? or should i jsut get some camo duct tape or something? any ideas you all have used. im willing to try anything that doesnt cost me to much
