Default Turkey pics from this morning..

Got out of work this morning at 07:00 and seen this group of birds just down the road from my house on the way home. I hurried home and grabbed the camera and ran back down there -they stayed long enough for just a couple of pics...

I get done with midnights on Thursday morning and then have 5 days off to go out a get some good ones of them..

VERY nice pictures. I believe he shoots with a D300 and Nikon 200-400mm lens. I think that's what he posted in his other thread anyways. Hope I wasn't stepping on any toes here. I just really am in awe of outdoor photographers. I have a decent background in basic photography, and will in time have a DSLR. How do you like the full frame capability?

Dave, top notch as always...............I would bet there are a few magazines that would be looking for quality like that.

Thanks for the compliments guys. These shots here were a little rushed, handheld, wished I had time to get a sturdy rest, they would have been a little clearer.

Matt - thanks for answering bwhunter501's question. I do shoot a D300 and a 200-400 lens. And so far I do love it.

What my main goal is this spring is to get some great strutting grouse pics- they're hard to come by.. heres one on a stone wall..
