Default Chrono'd the Alley tonight

For the heck of it, I chrono'd my 2007 Allegiance tonight. Here's what I found.

Bow set at 64.8lbs, 28" draw, 370 gr total arrow weight. String has fletcher peep, string loop and stock string silencers. Smooth mods in the cams.

284 -285 out of 5 arrows.

I'm pretty happy with that. I actually gained about 5-7fps over my 05 Allegiance I had.

What do you guys think? Is this about right on par?

That seems to be pretty close to what I've seen. I haven't been able to shoot the new bowtech's but I definitely will, that's pretty good performance.

My 07 shot through the chrono at 275 fps. That is shooting with a peep, kisser, string loop, and factory silencers. 29" CX Maxima hunter #350 with 100 gr field tips.

I have have the same arrow weight and draw length and shoot 71lbs and only get 278-279. The thing is, the speed was calculated by a techno hunt machine and i dont know how accurate they are?? Great numbers by the way...oh yea i have an 06 too but that shouldnt make that big of difference.

I used my program and punched in 318 ibo speed for the smooth mods and it cam up with 286 fps.I would say you are right on par with the stuff on your string.

Muzzy that's about right. I have a 2006 Ally, the only difference in our set up is that I have a tru-peep on mine, 28.5 DL and my arrow is 396 gr, I get 285 on average. I will be going to 60# and reducing my arrow weight next year though.
