Default H&R Sportsman Topbreak Question

Does anyone have a clue how the cylinder latch springfor a H&R Sportsman model 999 topbreak revolver is replaced? The one in my gun was accidently pulled out by a cleaning rag. When I insert it back into the slot in the barrell assembly, the bullet extractor won't seatcompletely, hence the gun won't close. I considered using a hammer, but that seemed a little extreme. So I calmed down and wrote this post.
