2" blazers or 4" vanes

RE: 2" blazers or 4" vanes
This is the very first year I'll be shooting the actual Bohning packaged "Blazers" but I've shot the first prototype Blazer vanes as far back as 1997.
I used to frequent the shop of the guy who designed them and finally got Bohning to make them after a bunch of years trying. (Dave Andrews, from Frackville, PA)
He would take a regular Bohning 5" vane (never would tell me which model) and hand cut each one into the now familiar profile. I still have some of his originals somewhere with the pen marks on them where he would measure before cutting.

What is the difference between the 2 in performance. I always wanted to try the blazers jsut because they looked cool but never really heard of any performance difference
