RE: Fall-away vs. Fixed arrow rests
If I were to go back to a fall away rest the Muzzy Zero effect would be my first choice. I hunted with it some this year, and shot alot prior to season. It was reliable, quiet, and the accuracy and ease of tune was unreal. I did have a cable slide break on me, but as far as I know I am the only one to have trouble with the slide breaking. I also know that anything mechanical can and will break. I have been playing around with a trap door rest my brother gave me. So far it seems reliable and works well, but I am not sure I would want to use it for hunting. The Muzzy just works so well, and has a lot of nice features for the hunter.

I have the Quicktune 4000 on my Mathews 'FX'. I'll never go back.
I am in the process of learning to use my True Fire release in 'Relax to Fire' method. I am currently grouping 5 arrows in the bull [at 20 yards] at 6:00 o'clock. The combination is smooth, quiet and dependable.
Hey, some of my hunting partners are planning on switching to the QT 4000 as well.
It is a simple dream to set up and you can be shooting tight groups (20 yards) in one afternoon, I did.
