i have a break-over new england rifle killed one deer very lite wight and its a single shot
and the good thing is it don't make in exit wound

I have Tikka .300 wsm, savage 7mm rem mag, .243 , .270

Lyman .54 cal loaded with round ball and 120 grains of powder. A shoulder fired cannon

yeah skins that's exactly what i'm doing now. i'm getting a rem. 700 BDL i haven't gotten it yet but i still put it in my list. i have it almost payed off.

I make my own loads for it since factory ammo can sometimes be fudged up.

My other deer gun is a Browning A-Bolt Composite Stalker .308 topped with a Leupold Rifleman 3-9x40 and I also load ammo for it for the same reason as the .300

I use older Sako rifles for deer, either in .243 or 30-06 - both have Leupold 3X9 scopes mounted on them. I'm switching this year to black powder for deer and elk, traded my Hawken for a TC Black Diamond.
