My parents bought me an Ipod shuffle for my b-day and before i opened it i wanted to check out some of its pro's and con's. Does anyone own one and if so what do you think about it. Any information would be very helpful.

Man, I would just open it and find out its pros and cons for yourself. Your parents bought you the gitt. Finding out if it will be tailor made to your specs is almost an insult to them. Open it, use it, and enjoy it. Show your parents that it is not going to waste and just sitting there in a package forever. I have wondered what is happening to kids these days, and I think this is one of the contributing factors. Their parents buy them something, and the kids question it. I would be happy my parents actually bought me something. Appreciate that, it may not always be that way, and there are kids out there that aren't so lucky as you to have parents to buy you something like that for your birthday. I must say, my parents didn't always have a lot of money for buying me the most high tech of gifts, but what they lacked there, they made up for in their financial struggle to keep me alive when I really needed it, somewhere along the lines of a kidney transplant. I am sorry if you take this the wrong way, but oh well. I have seen too many kids turning into snobby little whiney $#%$%^^&& because they didn't know how to appreciate what they have been given and thank God that they are fortuanate enough to be in that position. Again, if you take this the wrong way, thats too bad. I am sick of seeing where today's youth is headed!

I never said I don't appreciate it. I always appreciate it when anyone takes the time and money to do something for me. And i try to do something for them in return. Sorry if my question seemed snobby but trust me, thats not how i meant it. I just wanted to make sure it was something i would use before i open it so that my parents money wouldn't go to waste. I do realize however, that it is the thought that counts.
