Gander mountain, Dick's gun shows, firearms dealers, local and near my college. I also read 5 differnt hunting/gun mags for reviews, check out gunammerica.com and ww.gunbroker.com and check manufacture sites and this forum and the fireing line forum for user tips and opinions.

I don't buy before much research and I also I also love "Tales of the Gun on the History channel". If you ever ned advice on brands let me know I will give you a history lesson.

got 2 guns from uncles
new Remington 870 last year from Cabelas
New RugerM77 MarkII from small firearms dealer because me and cabelas are having problems at the moment because they decided to p*** me off and not carry any left hand bolt action rifles i wanted so i said screw it and now they don't get any of my gun business
anyway the people behind the counter at Cabelas don't know left from right when it comes to guns so i don't care
and i just got a recurve bow off of Ebay[8D]

i bough about 20 guns from one small gun dealer "pop's sport shop" he gives me good prices so i keep going back and i also bought about 10 from another shop that will give out great prices if they have guns that don't sell for awhile.

do some research and then call around for the best prices
