i hunt because it makes me feel free..free from all the problems of the world..sitting in the stand just watching nature and the different behaviors of animals is peaceful..just to listen to the creek flow and hearing the scampering through the leaves whether it be a squirrel deer or any other animal, it always has you looking...plus each time you are in nature there is something unique that happens...i was always a fisherman, but took up hunting 4 years ago...i just bowhunt because i like to know that i earned my kill...and all the meat definately taste better than any beef in the store..

food mainly but even if I don't catch my quarry, I love being out side in the wilderness and watching and learning about animals. My dad go me started on hunting. I'm glad too because we are a dieing breed. So if you get a chance, take a city slicker hunting with you and show them how to live!!

I hunt because I love to get outdoors. I love the outdoors. I could spend all of my time there. It helps me remember and appreciate the beauty God has given me. It gets me away from all the big towns, all the people, all the chaos, and gives me time to think and be alone and relax.

I also love it because memories are made with family and friends, that can never be replaced. I love the time I get to go out with my buds in the woods, whether or not anything is ever killed.

I just...absolutely love it.

My dad is a maine guide and has been one for a while. So basically i was brought up like that also. Ive hunted just about everything in maine.

i love everything about hunting. every fall is my favorite time of year because thats when i get to spend alot of time with the family and away from the city. i also hunt for the venison. i cant get enough of it.
