Yeah,270 is a dandy cartridge,and perfect for whitetails.I prefer the 30-06 for its versatillity and availability.Plus,it has a bit more punch,but the 270 is a great cartridge.

yea my dad used his on an antelope he shot but it blew a hole right through the animal!!!!!!!
