what makes them want to rape a girl? at another car show tonight...i was stalked and really scared... its the feeling like you are being hunted... i've been hunted by animals before... but it was nothing like this... it was horrible... this guy followed me everywhere... he watched my every move... and every time he looked at me he was giving me this blank stare... later on when i went around the corner of a building he was there and he put his arm in front of me and said hey girl you want to have a little fun... and i'm not a helpless person but i really felt like i was... i had my hand on my deer knife the entire time... i turned back the other way and he came after me and said hey baby where you think you are goin? luckly my cousin who is about 7'2" was coming around the building too and he stepped in front of me and broke the guy's nose... i have never been so scared in my entire life... and i dont understand why a guy would ever want to do that

THe kind of guys who go around raping ppl are sick and perverted and nasty. There is no excuse for that behavior. I would have ripped that guy a new one with my knife if i was in your shoes.

I don't know what motivates guys to rape girls, I think just stupidity and lack of a consicous is one thing. I worked around those types of people and i could never figure them out though. I am glad you are ok and that your cousin was there when he was. I don't know if you can do so because of your age but if its legal there, you should carry some sort of pepper spray with you when going on to a place like that. If the knife you have is of a certain length, it would be considered illegal to carry with you so if you had to use it in something like that, it would be hard to prove it was self defense if he never actually touched you. I know you are a smart girl and probably know this but just in case thought i'd share that with you. The girl i am seeing, she has been raped in the past and she sometimes has a mace can with her, which sucks because its an older type so i gave her one of the type that my dad uses for work (its a very very strong and effective spray) I am not sure the age limited out here in California regarding use of pepper spray because I know in the past people have been using it to rob people with but i think as far as its used to protection rather then aggression, it'll be ok. She is 23 if the age is over 18, she is ok. If you decide to carry pepper spray with you, you should find out what the age limit is out there first. But if you feel something like that would happen again, wear it when you are going to be at places like that so that way you can't get in trouble as easly.
