I'm not a trophy hunter i am a meat hunter. Now dont get me wrong i'd like to shoot a nice buck but i'd rather shoot a scrub buck and get meat then wait all year for a big one and go home empty handed. ;)

Hey *hugs* I think it's best just to go hunting and enjoy yourself while out in the woods. You don't need to hunt just for the points. I've gone many times and I've always gotten little deer, but last year I was lucky enough for a 7 point with a 25 inch inside spread to come along. I'm hoping that maybe I'll get a nice one this year, but if I don't thats fine. I just enjoy being out! *hugs* take care Good Luck hunting!
