opening day i head in with a flash light and i walk out using a flash light. 2nd day on i will head out about 30 min. before sun up and stay until 10 or 11 am. and head out at 12-1 and stay until dark.

how about you guys, how long are you on stand?

About 6:30 till 10-11.

Few mins before sunrise to about 9am .. im not one to sit for a long time ..

during gun hunting im out every day all day
bowhuntin i hunt mornings from before sunup til 11 and then 1 til dark

bowhunting......sunrise to 10:00 am....evening ......1:00 to dark
rifle season.......sunrise to 11:00 am....evening.....1:00 to dark........

sometimes i will stay all day.....pack a lunch and keep on hunting

I'm usually out about 1/2hour before sunrise and then I come in at 9:30 or 10am, then go back out so I am up in my tree hunting for about 2 1/2hours. During the rut I might stay all day if I'm in my climber.

Rifle i'm on stand all day.
Archery 3:30 till dark. I dont hunt much in the AM during archery.

Depends on how i feel that day. Most of the time i head in before sunrise, try to stay till noon, then come back that evening around 3. Course, on one place, i know exactly when the come out, so i dont have to sit as long, which is nice. So there i only stay till about 11, then dont go back till around 4:30
