I used to know a few people up in Canada (lost contact through the years though) and i just recalled Canada Day being like our 4th of July. That is cool that they are almost on the same day (or if they are, even better)

O.K, enough of being nice. We try to be good neihbors and friends. Our troops ARE in iraq and ahfgahnistan, just not in huge numbers. In case you don't keep up, our military no longer is a massive invasion force. We are a country of peacekeepers. Our troops go in afterwards to eliviate the pressure off the other forces when it comes down to it. For that, you can thank the Liberal Government's cuts on military spending over the years. The Canadian people DO on the otherhand back the U.S, when it comes to Iraq. Even more so than the number of americans who back it. But why should we be nice about it? Your government shut down our borders to beef. I live in the heart of cattle country. I see first hand everyday, farms shutting down. Herds being culled. Our Government is feeding the farmers, not the forces right now. It's the U.S side that shut us down, and causing my economy to come to a stand still. But I back the U.S, too. Why? Because were neihbors. And we must stick together, through it all. I hope that their are a few people down there that realize this without having to be told. were neihbors, lets act like it already!

I am sorry trophyhuntr that you feel that way.You can blame our government for all the issues about the war in iraq,but if you were to ask any canadian on how they feel about it,they would have stood side by side with the americans from day one-I for one would have---thats why i have the utmost respect for you americans and i consider us friends and neighbours

It's not the Canadian people who are to blame for their less than intense anti-terror effort. It's their liberal, socialist government that has no balls and still thinks that terrorists can be reasoned with instead of crushed. I think if the majority of Canadians (at least those in BC) had thier way, we would be dividing up Iraq and Iran right now between the two of us.

Canada is a good neighbor, would love to go there sometime.

i don't see any of professor's post that says he doesn't like canada..? but w/e Canada is a good for breeding ground for ducks which is all i really need them for.
