How many hunters go to your school?
 

We had a wild game lunch for ffa today at school and i got to thinkin wonder how many hunters are there in other schools i go to a small jr/sr high with 250 kids and probably 200 of them hunt i was wonderin how many people hunt at your alls school? and are there any anti hunters? ive known one person that was against hunting my whole life here

out of the 2000+ students at my school, probably about I'de say 4 or 5 hunt. Kinda sad. Most are in gangs so we all know how that goes.

Out of 750 students at my school theres ME and My Freind and i and thats all the hunters + 1 teacher

My school is filled with about 1/8 hunters most of them live on ranches so they have land to hunt on I'm one of the lucky ranch kids. I hunt antilope, deer, dove, geese, elk ,and if I could I would hunt more. Living where I do I can watch deer over a period of time and find out where the biggest deer are and on opening day get the biggest deer in the country. We also have a pond close to are house and 3 lakes a little ways away from are house that I can fish in. The lakes are mainly filled with Rainbow Trout.

Not enough<img src=icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle>. Oh, I'd say out of the 800 or so kids, MAYBE 250 hunt, not a lot, but more than in some schools. People are too concerned about &quot;LOOKING PRETTY, AND IMPRESSING EACH OTHER&quot; than hunting. Kinda sad, most of the kids at my school are worried about &quot;SERIOUS&quot; relationsships and are afraid to have some fun. Oh yeah, about 90%+ of the kids at my school, either drink, do drugs, or both on the weekends. They never have time to hunt.

Out of the 300 kids in the middle school, i'd say that about 15 hunt. Most of those people are my friends.

i don't have ANY hunting friends. there are a few older kids who hunt and believe me they are good(3 +170 class bucks in the last 2 years) and a few teachers. but that's it. maybe 6 out of 300.

No theres no hunting clubs here i am just lucky to know alot of farmers and alot of Rural kids who are my freinds who i hunt with!

wow... you guys go to big schools... here theres only 500 kids in my entire school... and thats kindergarten through seniors... all in one rather small building... anyway... all of the main population that hunt are gone from my school... they graduated last year... now its just me, my boyfriend and one other guy... i get made fun of a lot to... not only for hunting.. but also being a girl and hunting... most of the members of my school including a few teachers are anti-hunters... theres even a few members of peta

Man! Some of you are so lucky! I only know of like 5 people that hunt in my middle school. I'm sure there's more. Most of the hunters are adults in my town in Maine, epecially because I live in southern Maine. In northern Maine there's a lot more hunters and more youth hunters.

i'm almost ashamed to say this is so pathetic, we have about 600 kids 9th-12th grade, and i'd say about 7 of us hunt, and i live in central kansas. nobody would dare make fun of us hunters here though, becuase each of us have our own aresonals in our closets or whatever. there is for sure one senior girl trying to convince me to sell my guns. i was like, you must have lost your mind because i would part with my life before i parted with my precious guns. who wants to smoke crack on the weekends when you could be out in a treestand and take down a nice doe or buck?? NOT ME!! in the off season its off to shoot squirrels or rabbits, or pull out the ol trap thrower. i really think more people would like hunting if we could ever talk them into trying it.

I went to high school in brooklyn park,MN. I went to the second biggest high school in mn. There were 3200 kids, I think only 350 were hunters. But it was a suburban area, and most kids weren't introduced to hunting ever.

everybody hunts at my school. EVERYBODY. (i can think of one person that doesnt, but after watching him shoot and seeing how impatient he is, i can see why). i live way out in the boondocks, so theres not really that much to do here except hunt.

Out of about 200 students i would say about 50% of them are hunters. I live way out in the country and there is only two kinds of people out here, hunters and non-hunters.

Out of 360 kids I know of 2 others that hunt. I take so much good natured crap for hunting that anymore I feel like a walking talking animal conservation encyclopedia.

Out of 758 people in middle school I would have to say... 8 of us hunt... theres somemore people but they just hunt to kill and see blood, they don't hunt for meat or because theres a big population of something that needs to be put down... And about the dressing thing... I look like a thug when I go to school... not like a hunter... so there is some hunters that dress thug like or just normal!

I haven't been in High School for about almost 5 years now but when i was there, we had about 550-600 students there and there was at least 4 people that I knew of that hunt. I know 2 teachers that hunt as well. Also sad to say, lot of students were anti-hunting and I came close several times getting in fights because of it (I guess having a empty gun rack in my truck and a sticker that said &quot;I rather be hunting didn't help much <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle> ) Happy to say I knew this one girl from school who was one of my hunting buddy(those 4 people who i knew hunted were friends of mine) but after she had her daughter she stopped. As for Jr. High, just a few people did.

I'd say 450 out of 500 hunt at my school in Central Ohio. Everybody about loves to hunt.

OF PEOPLE WHO HUNT IN MY SCHOOL BUT ID SAY THEIR ARE ALOT NOT PEOPLE THAT LIVE FOR HUNTING LIKE ME BUT ONES THAT HUNT ID SAY MOST OF THE SCHOOL AND THE WHOLE STATE OF UPPER MICHIGAN. FOR THE OPENING DAY OF DEER SEASON THE WHOLE U.P SCHOOLS GET OFF 2 DAYS TO GO HUNTIN SO ID SAY ALOT OF THE KIDS IN MY SCHOOL HUNT. -WICK-
