I've taken many bunnies in the backyard with a Daisy 880 at ranges up to 30 yards , never had to shoot one twice when using lead pellets .

Air. Once a co2 starts to get weak it deprives the gun of killing power. With air 1500 shots later you still are hitting with the same force. Always has given me clean kills on everything from birds to a few groundhogs at close range. I'd go with AIR! just my 2cents.
