If you can find it rent a suspense flick from the mid 70s called "The Legend of Boggy Creek" . It will look kinda hokey compared to what you see today , but it gave me nighmares for months afterward .

Either of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre movies.

I saw the old one when I was about 9, scared the heck out of me, saw the new one when it came out, scared the crap out of the girlfriend!

13 Ghosts was the scariest movie I have seen. It was the new version. It sucked really bad though. I hated it.

The original Texas Chainsaw Massacre was one of the best scary movies of it's time. When and if you watch it you have to keep in mind that this was all made before the computer generated graphics, the fake blood, the fame body parts, etc... In it's time it was a good flick.

It would be tough for me to say because i am a big horror movie fan. I think both versions Texas Chainsaw (not any of the sequels) because its based on a true story. For those of you who didn't know this. Yep, its a true story. It was in fact Texas and something like 200+ people were killed over 5 years. The death toll could have been more or less but i know it was quite a bit. The murderers actually ran an tow company for a junkyard so it was easy for them to get rid of the cars. I think the killings was in the 60s
