I did both during my freshman and sophomore year. It was really fun. Looking back at it i should have taken the last two years as well. I still remember some of the things I learned so it comes in pretty handy.

i had shop class when i was in highschool and i loved it. We did drafting, woodwork, welding, and photography. I got to make some real cool stuff like fish bats, welded up some tree stands, made an ice fishin shack, a cargo box for my quad, a few clocks and other stuff like that. A good idea is to build a garden shed in your class and then sell it to someone in the community. Then split the money between you and your classmates or put it into a graduation fund.

I took 4 years of drafting. It was cool. I would have liked woodworking, but the noice really bothered my ears. some friends made some really cool things.
