ok so today we went out huntin on the land we always hunt on-six flags america property. We hunt there cuz my dad works there and we have permission and everybody that hunts there works there. So anyway there were bout 10 of us still huntin and a guy named mike got a deer pretty early. He spined the deer at 80 yards. So later on when my cousin, freddie, went to check the deer out to make sure it was dead-he found a deer ready to woop someones ass. The deer wasn' t dead and had use of its front legs still. That little bastard deer was kickin and btitin at freddie tryin to kill him. Freddie got out his knife and slit that damned deer' s throat. It was pretty damn funny.

sorry to sort of rain on your parade.. but why if someone could get a good aim to hit the spine of the deer wouldn' t they go straight for a clean and a lot less painful kill... and why would someone walk up the deer, which was trying to kill the person in question, and slit it' s throat which was basically putting him in more danger.. why not shoot it again? sorry.. just my two cents worth but our job as hunters is to make what we do as quick and painless for the deer as possible

we thought the deer was dead at first...it just sorta sprang alive. freddie is just liek that and it was a spur of the moment sorta thing. he' s not gonna run away liek a coward and get his gun but stand and fight like a man. lol.

Piece of advice fer freddie...fight smarter not harder...lol...just a piece of southern advice

lol I agree with warriorhunter.....get a gun! And always be careful when a deer drops. that usually means a spine hit.

Yea , they usually dont like it when they r traped there , seeing u come. Thye usually have a **** fit, start gettin all wierd. Hes lucky it didnt boot him good tho , those suckers r strong. I personally though woulda shot it again , i know i have had to put one out with my knife due to a spine shot with my bow, but with a gun , put another one in and end them quick.
