Here's a link for each state's requirements. In IL you have to be 16 to hunt alone. Some states are lower, some are higher, and some don't have any age restriction at all.

I would check your local regulations. Are you able to field dress and haul out what you are planning on harvesting?

****The link I posted above lists every state and it's requirements. In his state it's 16 just as I stated.

I have personally talked to a game warden and he says I can hunt alone as long as I have my foid card. And all the other tags needed. And I'm only 13

***The Game Warden better check the law for the state he's working for because the IL law specifically says you can't hunt alone until you're 16.

In NC once you've taken Hunter Safety course, completed, and qualified you can hunt by yourself. You don't have to buy a license until your 16 and as long as you have your certificate showing you've completed it and have a tag you're good to go.

You can't always go by what a website says. I think a Andreessen from the state he is hunting in will know better then some webpage that is not runed by that states dnr. The best bet is look at your state's hunting regs and or call the state's dnr. Not some off the wall website someone that acts like they know all tell you is the truth.
