What guns do yall hunt with??
 

Hey guys, I was just wondering if yall could
give me an idea of what yall hunt with and a little
on how it handles, reliability, and just what you think of your
gun or guns that you have and or hunt with.
BTW I hunt with a coupla guns: Savage .243 Revalation (I hope it will soon be replaced with a brand new Savage 110GXP3 Packeage Gun in .243;))
Winchester Mod. 94 30-30[8D] (I love this old shooter, its the rough and tough lever action that everyone needs, but its old iron sights are a pain to shoot). Well thats about it for me, God Bless!![8D]

Well I will answer your question...I also use a selection of guns...1) in tight bush I use an old 303 mark 4... 2) in open cut blocks and cutlines I use a winchester 30-06... And for those LONG shots I use a 338 mag... Mostly I carry the 30-06...The 30-06 is in my eyes the most versitile of all the big game guns... You can load themup heavy for the very larg animalsei: moose bear ect.. ect.. and on the other side you can load them up light for those deer that you are going to go after...

8mm Mauser- just got, not sure of accuracy potential yet
.45 ACP Colt 1911- varmints/personal protection/plinking

What i hunt with...that cuts the list down fast on the collection.

Remington model 700 30-06 for big game
Traditions .50 cal. blackpowder
Remington 870 express for wingshooting

Thats what i hunt with. I dont shoot a lot of my guns, i dont know why. These im use to though, thats probably why i use them the most.
All of them have performed flawlessly and theyve been through #e!!

I still use my first rifle, a Savage 110 in .243 for deer. I have a new 30-06 I just bought but that .243 and I have been through many good times. I will use it just as much as the 30-06. Also a 870 Wingmaster for birds.

Well ever since i first started to hunt. BB gun, 410, Mossberg 835 12. Remington Wingmaster Magnum and regular wingmaster. Few .22s. 300 Savage and 300 Savage Magnum. Glocks, 9mm, 45. Just a few on top of my head at moment.

depending on area.. win 94 30-30 also second 94 with Lyman Peep. Win 12 Ga. slug w/ barl. Marlin 444 for the big deer up north in NH. and my Fav. Knight muzzle loader camo thumb-hole composite stock / stainless steel barrel. I also like to haul the ol' s&m 9mm around for that close handgun harvest . Jap. 7.7 for long feild shots.

For Grouse either my pump 20 guage or single shot 410
Turkey ill use my single shot 12 guage or pump 20

For deer & turkeys I use my Remington wingmaster 12 ga 3" mag
I had a Rem 7400 in 308 for deer, only shot 1 deer with it and sold it > very bad accuracy, but quick second shot made up for it, this season I' m usin a Marlin 336A 30-30
.410, .22, and .22 mag for small game
16 ga Ithaca and 20ga Wingmaster use for target shooting and stuff, use them for huntin once in a while, or if I have someone huntin with my I let them use my 20 gauge. My 16 ga is kinda old and hardly ever gets shot, and not by just anyone.

i hunt with my new ruger 270 stainless steel synthetic stock on deer and bigger animals, a very nice gun, i use a new haven 12 gauge for pheasants, andy birds, and small game, also i use a marlin 22 on small game

I use a Baikal (some russian joint) .410 single shot which is awesome for rabitts, grouse, and of course SQUIRREL!
For deer huntin we r in a special shotgun only zone and i use an ithaca deerslayerII 20 gauge. she is a babe;)

hey i hunt with my grandads (and more recently my dads) old 308. Winchester in model 88 lever action
i also use a 223. on varments up to close range deer(althought i havn' t shot one with it yet he he):D
they both prove very reliable and accurate and i do not see the need in having soo many guns for any range of animal you are huning

i use a ruger mark 77 nwtf special edition .300 mag for deer elk bear cougar.
winchester model 70 .270 for varmits and shooting for fun.
cva hunterbolt mag .50 cal for late season elk tag
remington 870 express supermag 12 guage for upland waterfowl and turkey hunting
remington 870 express magnum 20 guage for pigeons clay targets and tweety birds

I jus' got a new Savage 7mm-08 package gun, and am totally impressed witht his gun. Savage makes a great gun, even though people think they' re bad because they' re cheap, I' ve seen more savages accurate on average than a lot of other brands, consider a savage, no matter what.

Winchester 1300 Sluggun-12gadeer (i' m in a no rifle zone)
Remington 870 express combo - 20gasmall game some times deer if i know i' m going to be walking a lot

mossberg is allright thinking of selling it
NEF shot it twice bought it cheap
870 accurate but nat as good as winchester

the winchester rocks it thoughs 2 inch groups at 75 yards
