This answer isn't like everyone elses but what I think makes a great hunter is patience,being optimistic, and the love of hunting. You have to be patient to get that deer or turkey or whatever your hunting. You have to be optimistic about it. If you go to the field or into the woods saying why the heck am I out here, I'm not going to get or see anything, then you most likely are not going to get your animal. And last but not least is that you have to love hunting and the challenge and tradition of it. This is what I think makes a great hunter, and having common sense, thats important too.
