Default My new axe!

Headed down to the GC yesterday and picked up my new baby that I've been eyeing for a good little bit: a Schecter Hellraiser C-1 FR... and she's a beauty! It has a quilted maple in black cherry finish on the body and headstock, both bound in abalone, and all black chrome hardware. Its got the new EMG 81/89 pickups for the perfect tone and crunch for metal, but it has push/pull tabs so you can split the coils in the pickups and get almost the exact same tone of a stratocaster: perfect for country and chicken pickin'. 24 frets and abalone "iron cross" fret inlays, original german made floyd rose tremolo with locking nuts so it never goes out of tune. This little thing can squeal! An all around perfect guitar for my country/metal interests

Sorry if I'm overdoing it a little, but I'm excited lol [8D]

...someday I will learn to play

That's real nice. I know a guy who makes guitars in his spare time. Acoustic though.

huh... thought that "axe" was pretty much understood. "Axe" is just another name for a guitar [8D]

Awesome. I have the Schecter BlackJack Temptest. They make wonderful guitars, very easy to play, great cleans, outstanding crunch. I would honestly choose a Schecter over a Gibson Studio.
What kind of amp are you running it through?
