goin up north(MN) and im gonna bring my fishing rods with(im bringin my camera too)
and im wondering what kind of set-ups i should get on
i have 2 game fish rods and 1 new ultra-light

going up north for vaction to(mattawa), which is also going to be a total fishing trip. my dad, boyfriend and i will be fishing on my dads big boat, 4 downrigger rods, 2 dipsey rods, down riggers and planer boats, and for the little fish im have my fishing rod that i have had as long as i can remember some old shimano rod and reel but its my baby.

where are you going, is MN Minnesota or Manitoba?

I would put a slip bobber and minnows/worms/whatever the fish are biting on the ultralight and some form of a crankbait on the game rods.

what kind of fish are you goin after.

up here we fish for salmon and touge by trolling sewn on smelt behind a dodger or dave davis' w/ either lead core or down riggers

it'll mostly be streams and what-not
oh and some access to lake superior
