For those who do not travel to the Fishing Forum, we are havingthe 2009 Bass Tournement signups right now. Whether you are a serious fisherman or make it out once in a while it is just for kicks and giggles. A lot of great people over there that would love to see your catch.

I know it seems early but those Southern states will have the spawn heating up here soon (LUCKY!).

i usely catch around 30 bass a summer that are over 3 1/2 pounds..but i dont feel like signing up,fishing is ment for fun not for competition

That's great you catch some 3.5+ pounders. Fishing is ment for fun and adding a little competition in just makes it more fun. If you make your way over to the Fishing Forum you will see how laid back it is. But to each his own, I was just letting everyone know.

Thats it? I catch bass in the thousands during the summer. Fishin freshwater every morning before work, and hittin inshore/offshore saltwater during the weekend in the summer.

im only counting the bigger bass,i catch lots of smaller ones,but i also catch lots of catfish and walleyes and panfish.
