Do you realize Brett Favre hasnt missed a game since before you were born! Just imagine everytime in your life that you have been hurt or sick or not feeling up to par and then imagine that he has played through all of it. 291 games in a row to be exact. If your going to participate in a thread about football players then im not going to let you bash the greatest one.
well the bengals would have a super bowl ring and palmer would be 100% but he kind of tore HIS ACL! becasue of the steelers dirty players

Brett Favre- greatest QB? no, one of the greatest, yes. he was a great player, but, what he did to green bay wasn't right. and also he is past his prime, he literally lost the game for the jets a few weeks ago. not that young guns don't do this as well but he needs to retire...........PERMANANTLY. and stop playing around and retiring for a few months then coming back to expect a starting job. I am a DIE HARD Nfl fan. I breathe the NFL (free agency, draft,..etc). Love It! I personally believe Favre has got to be the greatest quarterback to play the game. Thats just my opinion.Without a question one of the best at least. If you think Carson Palmer is a better quarterback than Favre, you definetly do not know football.

My favorite players: Calvin Johnson, Ray Lewis, Brian Urlacher, Tony Gonzalez, Brett Favre, ...cant think of any more. Probably the whole Lions team. Im a big Lions fan.

Players I cant stand: The whole Chargers team, especially Phillip Rivers. I laugh at who drafted LT with the #1 pick in fantasy football this year. Hes definetly not what he used to be. Others I dont like are Chad Johnson, Jeramy Stevens, DeAngelo Hall (though hes really good), Plaxico Burress...

I hate Ohio State and hate UofM. Im a big Michigan State fan. Sorry, but James Laurinauitis is pretty overrated. He aint no Rey Maualuga or Aaron Curry. Good, but not great.

Favre is the greatest to ever play the game, in terms of skill, i would have to say John Elway is the best quarterback to every play. But in terms of greatness, Brett Favre takes the cake followed by Joe Montana.

Best modern day QB's (Skill/accomplishments/greatness/clutch ability):

1. Elway (MVP, Super Bowl MVP, 9 Pro Bowls, HOF)
2. Montana (2 MVP's, 3 Super Bowl MVP's, 8 Pro Bowls, HOF)
3. Brady (MVP, 2 Super Bowl MVP's, 4 Pro Bowls)
4. Favre (3 MVP's, 10 Pro Bowls, Multiple NFL Records)
5. Warner (2 MVP's, Super Bowl MVP, 4 Pro Bowls)
6. Manning (3 MVP's, Super Bowl MVP, 9 Pro Bowls)
7. Young (2 MVP's, Super Bowl MVP, 7 Pro Bowls, HOF)
8. Aikman (Super Bowl MVP, 6 Pro Bowls, HOF)
9. Marino (MVP, 9 Pro Bowls, HOF)
10. Kelly (4 Pro Bowls, HOF)

This doesn't include old school guys like Unitas, Staubach and Theisman.

No, BUT, it could be in the future if he stays 1 pace ahead of his dear older brother
