Default Mouse Trapping?!?!?!

I caught a mouse this morning with my bare hands! Why do you guys need traps? The cat caught it and was playing with it. When i got up to see what the cat was playing with(It had been about an hour at this time because i thought it was a bug at first but he usually looses bugs after about 20-30 mins) the mouse was laying there staring at me like "save me! Its going to kill me!" so i did and went and threw it in bed with the girlfriend. Needless to say i tryed to go lay back down and im kicked out of my own bed now.
