What do you do when hunting.

I was wondering what all you do when you get impatient while hunting.
It seems like younger people get a bit jumpier and move around more when they are impatient and not seeing any deer.
What do you do to keep yourself busy. Listen to music? Play games?
I usually sit for about 2-3 hours and if I dont see anything ill start to play music and games on my ipod. I also text friends.
If I do see something, I get real pumped up and i'm still as can be. Even when im freezing cold.

I occasionally text while in stand. I only tree stand hunt with a bow, during gun seasons I am either still hunting or putting on drives. But basically, if I get bored i will just text a few people.

lol I assume you wouldbe.
when ever I do a full day of hunting I listen mostly during the afternoon because we have a lake a about a mile away that is flooded with deer. They always go there in late afternoon and come back out in the evening.

I sit as long as I can before I have to meet up with whoever I'm hunting with. Most of the time that's 5-6 hours each sit. I text some, not too much. Just texts to and from other people hunting, giving and getting updates.

LOL... One time I brought the Ipod to the stand with me. I was completely zoned out in my music (Blackened by Metallica), and I was headbanging maybe just a lil bit, and I look up to see two does stomping their hooves and bobbing their heads up and down looking straight at me. I froze, but needless to say they ran faster than a eight-legged cheetah
