My taxidermist throws them in a tank with these african beetles they clean a deer skull in about a week, then he does them in straight peroxide

how can i do just an antler mount?
If you wanna do just an antler mount you can cut a V in the skull starting above the eyes goin into the brain, then go from the back of the skull at the same angle right to the previous cut. Take a scalpel and cut off the extra meat and fat, then boil just the base of the horns in the same type of solution as if you were doin a euro. Putting it in the bucket of beetles is also a great way, although I have never tried that. You can get an antler mounting kit from your local outdoor store that will have more detailed instructions and also a piece of leather and backboard to screw it too. Although a neat thing for the backboard is to head out in the woods and find a good sized log and screw it to that.
