Hey Sky, I think we should abolish driving cars in the winter and just ride our snowmobiles!

heres my gas saver! lol

really thoughmy truck has been on the fritz for a while. so i will deal her off before winter...since it is only rear wheel drive and if a dog where to pee on the back tires my truck would sit there and spin till the pee was dry....its rediculous

plans are to trade her in for a 4X4, that has a whole lot more horseys running under the hood....that way i can actually tow stuff, without having to wait for my uncle to lend me his truck. gas will suck more, but if im going to do my job right i need a truck than can handle t he abuse, and do the job...mine cant

I had a 94 Mazda pickup with a V6 in it and it did the same on gas as my 99 Silverado did. What kind of mileage are you getting in the Dakota?

Thats the way my Silverado was. It got 14 city and 18 highway. 4X4 hurts your gas mileage even when your not using it. Every little bit of wetness on the ground the wheels would spin. It was great when there was a few inches of mud or snow though.

Heres the truck me and my dad shared for a year after I got my license. We have had it 4 years like this and even when I got my license, I told my dad"Im not settling for less. SO,
I now have, without pics but will try, a '02 F150 with 6inch lift 20" Moto Metal wheels. Pic of a wheel is shown. She is clean. Also the other is '01 F150 8inch lift
BTW, the brown truck gets 14MPG and my '02 gets 10MPG. But when it looks that good, I am just caerful about how far I have to drive
