Honestly, I wouldn't put that in a yearbook if I was on the staff.

I wouldn't have put that picture in the yearbook if I was the staff. Our yearbook commitee is so picky they have regulations on the pictures you submit.

I complete understand the picture, moment, way of life and all, I live it.

But wouldn't you want a classy picture?

Now after viewing it I'd have to kind of agree. I don't think I'd put that in the yearbook either. If you're going to take a picture with your animal for public viewing, you should take pride in your kill. Put the deer's tongue back in its mouth, set the head up nice either on a rock or on your knee, tuck the animal's legs under itself, push the animal's stomach back under (hide the bloody mess), take some water and shine up the eyes, and smile.

Look through hunting magazines and you'll see what I mean. I'm sorry about your picture again, but remember to be a tad bit tasteful and respect the deer a bit.

the picture was taken junior year i think. senior year rolls around and i was looking through pictures to see what i had. i was debating between hunting or wrestling picture. that was the only picture of me smiling i'm not a real picture person. so out of laziness and being some of the cheapest people on the face of the earth thats what i submitted. my parents wanted something nice and it never happened were cheap and lazy folk. as for class i'm classy in a heehaw, ,andy griffith ,red green sort of way. gals are good at picking up on things people like me completely over look. even if i had intended for the picture to be my senior pic i probaly wouldn't have changed anything cuz they're normal to me. i have loads of deer pictures with the tongue hanging out. the yearbook folks took out the bloddy bottom half.
