When we went out the other day, they had a hockey game on the big screen TV so we sort of had to watch it. Those guys don't skate very well do they? They kept running into each other. I think they could score more if they could skate better and didn't run into each other and fall down and stuff.

You better check yourself man, the Celtics are the nervous ones right now. We came close twice already in Boston and King James is a freak of nature and also the best finisher in the game. Ben Wallace did a great job on KG at the end of last nights game (2 blocks?) and if he stays in Garnetts face all game the Cavs will roll on to face Detroit (who doesn't scare us one bit :D)



skybuster, do you know what this is ^^ Its the defensive player of the year (Kevin Garnett, NBA MVP), getting made into a CHILD by the King. For years and years to come this will be replayed on youtube and ESPN and anything else related to Lebron James. Its kinda like the Tim Duncan or Sheed Wallace dunk, its never gunna go away....ever! And when we close the series out on Sunday KG will have to watch it again and again on sportscenter while he sits and mopes during the off-season :D

Basketball would be a lot more interesting if they raised the net three or four feet higher. What challenge is there in jumping up and dropping the ball through the net? Okay you have to be able to dribble the ball too. But they always just run the last half dozen steps to the net thing before they jump up and drop the ball through.

The oddest thing is that the guys who simply jump up and drop the ball through seem to get paid more than the guys who have to throw it at the net and make it go through.

You obviously have never played any type of organized basketball. I can understand how basketball could be boring to those who have never played the game at any level or just don't understand the dynamics of the game.

The rim is at 10ft. Trust me, that is high enough. It looks like dunking the ball is easy while watching the NBA, but most of those guys are 6'6" or taller and very athletic.

Just ignore Mossberg, he brings nothing valid to this thread. I think LeBron will go off for 36-37 today and the Cavs will pull it out 90-87 He is def. going to to need some help from Delonte, Wally and Z/Joe Smith. Andy Varejao and Joe Smith have been playing lock down defense on KG at the end of games. Wally had a bad game last night, he's due for a good one Sunday. Not having Boobie is hurting us.

Thats why LeBron James was an All-Ohio Wide Reciever and recieved many offers to play at big D-1 schools like Ohio State, Michigan and such :eek:

No your obviously justvery ignorant about sports. The amount of skill in basketball is ridiculous compared to baseball, the only sport where there might be more skill involved is football. And like AH said, Lebron could have been a stud in that sports as well.

I think baseball requires the most variety of skills, although basketball probably requires more physical stamina. In the National League, even the pitchers must have some batting skills. Some positions in football only require the ability to push other people out of the way.

Hockey seems to call for a lot of stamina also. But those guys don't skate very well. They keep running into each other. I think if you put a team together of guys who could skate well and not run into other guys, you would have a guaranteed winner.

Well the Cavs lost:(:(:(:( LeBron and Delonte West payed their butts off but no one else showed up at all. LeBron scored 45 of their 92 points and West had 20 i beleive. Boston has a much better supporting cast. It was a fun series and would do it again in a heartbeat. As much as it pains me to say this, Go Celtics, Beat Detroit!!!

Dude im sorry but i HATE the celtics, and the Pistons arnt much better. I cant stand Sheed or Rondo or Peirce. Garnett is ok and so is Prince but the rest of the players in that Eastern Conferance finals match-up are not high on my list. Kobe is the man and Ira Newble is one of my favorite players.
