the sad thing is.....that just doesnt suprise nor amaze me anymore!

back on topic, there is the chevy cobalt, Chevy malibu, Chevy impala, chevy corsica (those will run FOREVER, buddy has one with 378,200 miles on it) dodge caliber, dodge challenger, dodge neon, Honda Acord, Honda Civic, Honda CR-V (if you get a SUV i strongly suggest the CR-V, great gas mileage, and standard 4 wheel drive) Ford ******, ford fusion, ford taurus.

is that a good start? i can help you narrow it down if you want! plus i got a family friend that owns 6 car dealerships, so i might be able to get you a discount on a car, depending on what the make and model is.

Well I need to be able to get back and forth to
lexington, Ky and Maretta, Oh. So defenatly a gas saver! And I really am going to need the cheapest thing (I'll still have a college bill to think about) but nice looking not piece of junk.
In that case, get a Toyota. Either a corolla or a camry... no matter what anyone says, 4 wheel drive isn't a must. Look at how many people have a lifted suspension and a 5 speed tranny on their PT Cruiser. Hardly any if none. Only get a 4 wheel drive if you WANT to go in the mud. As for snow, just drive safe. Don't haul 45 mph on snowy roads. Thats just common sense.

Exactly you don't need 4x4. I've lived in Northern Ohio all my life, no one in my family has owned a 4x4 and we make it through the winters just fine.

My dad has owned fords for years and hasn't had any problems. He owned 1 Chevy and it was junk. My familyhas owned a few Chevy's and they were also junk. I'll go with Ford.
