Default Overhaulin!!!

i got this tractor at a yard sale and now after it was at the shop getting the starter rewired i have have stated to overhaul it a bit i put a a new belt on it and i just primed some of the parts here is some picks




its a Deautz-Allis

Good luck and have fun. I fix up a lot of old tractors and trucks. My uncles a mechanic and he lets me use his shop and parts.

my best advice...strip everything, clean it, sand it, and get good quality paint. you'll be glad you did in the end. What engine does that have an onan or a kohler?

the engine seems to be ok they make little kits with all the easy to install parts like oil,air,fuel filters, sparkplugs and all that goods stuff i'd get one of those

I can see overhauling a car, motorcycle, or big tractor but i don't see the point in wasting time and money into a lawn tractor... thats just me though.
